Buying guide
Choosing rods for BC waters
Longer rods (9–10 ft) mend line and control a float on the Fraser and Vedder; 7 ft rods are the easy all-rounders for lakes and docks.
Fast action rods load near the tip for accurate casts and quick hooksets; moderate action rods are more forgiving on soft-mouthed salmon.
